Yes, Remy is free to download and use on iOS and Android.
Where is Remy available?
Remy is available to download worldwide, with direct retail connections in the UK, Germany, and Spain, plus Italy, Albania, and Austria coming very soon.
What grocery stores can I buy from through Remy?
In the UK you can buy directly from Tesco, Aldi, and Asda, with more retailers being added all the time. Remy also connects to leading supermarkets across Germany and Spain, with more markets on the way.
Does Remy work with dietary restrictions?
Yes. Remy supports a wide range of dietary preferences including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, high-protein, and low-calorie, and customises recipe recommendations accordingly.
How does Remy know what I have at home?
Remy imports your purchases automatically from connected retailer accounts and receipts. You can also add items manually using voice or image recognition. No barcode scanning required.
Can I import recipes from social media?
Yes. Remy converts any recipe from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, YouTube Shorts, or any blog on the internet into a shoppable ingredient list in seconds.
Can I add recipes from a cookbook or handwritten note?
Yes. Snap a photo of a cookbook page, a handwritten family recipe, or even a recipe printed on a product box, and Remy turns it into a structured, shoppable ingredient list automatically.
Can Remy generate recipes for me?
Yes. If you're not happy with the existing suggestions, Remy's hyper-personalised recipe generator creates new recipes on the fly, following more than 50 recipe-composition rules to match your taste, dietary needs, and what you already have at home.
Can I add my own recipes?
Yes. You can upload your own custom recipes, so you can cook your personal favourites and turn them into a shopping list just like any other recipe in Remy.
How do I buy the ingredients I'm missing?
With Remy's retail partners you can buy everything you're missing in under five clicks, right inside the app. Prefer to shop in person? No problem, just take your Remy shopping list to the store.
