
1. Asparagus Feta Tart
A spring tart that looks like it came from a much fancier kitchen than yours, but really only asks for a sheet of shop-bought puff pastry and about thirty five minutes. Crisp asparagus and creamy whipped feta sit on top, so the presentation alone does most of the impressing.
It works beautifully as a light starter or as one part of a bigger spread, and it slices neatly for serving at the table. Because it is served warm rather than piping hot, you can have it ready and resting before your guests even arrive. A scattering of black pepper and lemon zest finishes it off.
